A MESSAGE TO OUR PATIENTS
In coordination with the State’s relaxation on restrictions regarding non-emergent medical care, and Overlake Hospital’s reinstitution of non-emergent surgery, effective May 15, 2020, Overlake Obstetricians and Gynecologists is lifting restrictions on office appointments to include those which have up until now been considered non-emergent or “elective.” Patients are now free to begin scheduling appointments for well-woman care, Pap smears, family planning and less “urgent” concerns. Please be aware that all of the protocols and safeguards we have instituted for the protection of our patients and staff will continue to be in place. This includes mandatory screening prior to entering the office, and limitations on accompanying visitors. In addition, we are now requiring that all patients and visitors to our office wear masks, or face coverings, from the time of entry, to the time of departure. We will continue to offer telemedicine interactions for those appointments our providers deem appropriate, but remind patients that only certain types of appointments are appropriate.
We wish to sincerely thank our patients, and their families, for their acceptance and cooperation with all of the new policies we have instituted in response to the Covid-19 crisis. We ask for your continued patience and cooperation as we take this next step towards a return towards “normal” operations.
