Enjoy some holiday cheer in downtown Bellevue!
The holiday season is officially in full swing, and it’s time to enjoy all the fun activities that go along with it! So we’ve compiled a list of some of our favorite holiday events in Bellevue that are sure to bring joy to the entire family.
The Nutcracker at Meydenbauer Center
The International Ballet Theater presents “The Nutcracker” with several dates, including matinees for kiddos who might get tired at an evening performance, running through December 23rd, 2021. The production features a cast of professional dancers and visual performing artists in beautiful hand-made costumes.
Bellevue Downtown Ice Rink
For 24 years, the Bellevue Downtown Association has hosted an ice rink right in the heart of the city. This year’s rink runs through January 9th, 2022, and includes special events such as the “Ugly Sweater Skate” and “Football Sundays.” Haven’t skated before or need a little brushing up? No problem! Garden d’Lights
As noted on their website, “Garden d’Lights features over half a million sparkling lights formed in the whimsical shapes of plants, birds, animals, and cascading waterfalls set amid the natural beauty of the Bellevue Botanical Garden.” Be sure to visit the website and print out the “Critter Map” so your kiddos can search for and mark them off as you venture through the gardens. The display runs through December 31st, 2021.
Snowflake Lane
A traditional favorite in its 17th year, Snowflake Lane appeals to all ages and takes place every night at 7:00 pm on the sidewalks between Lincoln Square and Bellevue Square through December 24th. The parade is full of festive music, toy drummers, dancers, and even a little falling snow!
